First off, Thank you all for playing the game! This is the first of two patches that are hitting the demo before May 2nd. (Our Kickstarter Launch date) • Gameplay Focus (This Patch) • Performance (Next Patch)
Patch Notes
SteamDeck:
Was not correctly "latching" onto the main menu. This should be fixed
Environment:
Some early areas in the Weapons Factory have been altered
The beach challenge has been slightly altered due to the Movement rework (noted below)
Movement:
The entire movement kit has been revamped to address the "Floaty" feedback I would list every change, but please refer to this meme image I've attached to the post
Combat:
Combat has also been reworked, Armor is now working consistently with enemies again
Combo-Strings are now using a "State Machine" which makes them feel more intentional and less spammy.
Damage values remain the same.
Tansy's Gauntlet weapons will now properly aim toward your Soft-Lock target instantly (no more shooting nothing)
UpperCut was given armor break (green) if used on the 3rd punch of your combo
Camera:
New camera that doesn't snap onto every pebble on the ground anymore (thank god)
Bugs/Misc:
Switches can be flipped with additional attacks: Spin Attack, Upper-Cut, Down-Cutter
Idle animation no longer plays while visiting Penny's Shop
