Tons of code, a lot of content and a completely new level! Major work on improving collision meshes to make everything run smoother. And make those bullets count - all weapons now carry limited ammo. Here are some selected changes from the update:

  • Fixed mouse centering issue in OSX input driver.

  • Added destruction state – destroyed tanks become black and then explode.

  • Added zoom in effect to sniper weapons.

  • Added physics impulse to nearby bodies when tanks explode.

  • Some work on the crosshair to be able to easier see on bright backgrounds.

  • Modified forces of tracks suspensions.

  • Re-enabled Steam Cloud.

  • Added Fortune Cat accessory.

  • Conquest capture meters fill up.

  • Decreased impact radius for Heavy Cannon.

  • Savegames can now be reset from the settings menu.

  • Added ”Your global rank” number in leaderboards.

  • Fixed position of conquest towers sound origin.

  • Fixed zoom view getting stuck when killed in sniper view.

  • Fixed amount of bots in messages being one bot behind.

  • Fixed bug where bots didn't avoid animated meshes (therefore climbing palm trees).

  • Added function to AI to reverse if they get stuck and pick another route.

  • Added check for bots that leave the battlefield.

  • Added new Shark turret.

  • Improved mesh shape margin calculation.

  • Tweaked collision mesh margins for a lot of tank parts.

  • Fixed a lot of issues with Wheel parts.

  • Fixed issues with physics collision mesh calculations.

  • Added conquest towers and home bases to Arena map.

  • Added new angled thumbnails to customization menu.

  • New ocean implemented.

  • Post DOF filter implemented.

  • Added a first iteration of the spawn selection screen.

  • Reduced size of some network events.

  • Tweaked minimaps and minimap symbols.

  • Fixed script crash when starting SP levels without a navmesh.

  • Linux & Mac: OpenGL renderer depth compare state fix (bullet decals should work properly).

  • Also fixed visible mouse cursor when in-game.

  • Fixed multiple suicide bug.

  • Painted borders around all maps.

  • Reduced sizes of bots Hulk and Bastion due to navigational issues.

  • Tidied up the menues with darker backgrounds and proper margins.

  • A lot of changes to weapon stats and flash values.

  • New model for the Dragon Cannon.

  • Sound fixes for many areas in different maps.

  • Remade the smallest bot. Now carries a cannon.

  • Added Gatling Gun and Helmet turret.

  • Redesigned traffic cones, cannisters etc.

  • Game now keeps the last 10 application log files so it's easier to get the info log.

  • Ability to toggle between friend and global leaderboards.

  • Added ammo mechanism to weapons.

  • Improvements to Flash glyph shader.

  • Implemented a separate trigger radius for proximity mines.

  • New tank parts inherit color from socket part.

  • Player camera is now calculated from chassis position instead of the primary weapon, less camera twitching when changing main weapon.

  • Fixed memory leak in in-game UI Flash.

  • Prevent camera from going underwater.

  • Mouse sensitivity configuration implemented.
