Steam Next Fest begins tomorrow and we are very excited!

In preparation, we’ve just released a small update for the Garden and a Goat demo with the addition of a few flower buds (refinements and additions) as well as some pruning of a few thorns (bugs and issues). We look forward to your continued feedback and would be happy to discuss more in our Discord. Here's the summary:

  • Nameplates - For smaller, non-interactive decorations, a new nameplate type has been added that indicates focus but doesn't get in the way.

  • Variant Progress - Variant progress is now represented by the appearance of a small cyan star shape on the nameplate. This indicates some progress exists. The exact requirements will remain a puzzle for players to discover and track.

  • Alerts and Messages - Resident alerts have been further reduced and will only happen for new residents until the first resident of that animal type has been added to the garden.

  • Menus Hide HUD - To improve readability, most menus and UI now hide the HUD so there's less overlapping text.

  • Animal and Variant Fixes - Minor requirements and values have been adjusted for turtles and raccoons in particular.

We hope you all enjoy Steam Next Fest! Stay connected to hear more soon about what's next.
