策划模拟器 Game Designer Simulator changes
The first-ever Playtest for Game Designer Simulator has officially come to a close! Since this was our very first public test, the game naturally had its fair share of rough edges. However, thanks to your active participation and rigorous playtesting, we managed to identify and squash a ton of bugs that slipped under our radar during development. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who played, actively reported bugs, and shared their invaluable feedback with us!
Based on the most frequent feedback we received during the test, we’ve put together a solid optimization plan and development roadmap. Today, we want to give you an inside look at what's coming next:
Gameplay Optimizations & Adjustments
Addressing the learning curve of the "Card System":
We noticed that many players found the card mechanics a bit confusing to grasp. After internal discussions, we've decided not to overhaul the core mechanics of the card system for now, as we want to preserve the game's intended strategic depth and underlying logic. Instead, we will completely revamp and optimize the in-game text descriptions, UI tooltips, and tutorials. We will make the rules much more straightforward and crystal clear to solve the "I don't get it / I don't know what to play" confusion.
Regarding the "Surfing" and other minigames:
Message received! We’ve heard your roasts loud and clear. We are currently working on tweaking the controls and feedback of the "Surfing Minigame" to ensure a much smoother and more enjoyable experience. At the same time, we will also optimize and expand the variety of minigames in Phase 2 ("Official Employment"), so you can experience more fun and diverse content in future playthroughs.
Future Development Roadmap
Our dev team is currently working in overdrive, and our next major updates will revolve around these three core directions:
Deeply polishing the "Corporate Grind" Chapter (Phase 2: Official Employment)
Besides the continuous optimization of the Surfing and "Brainstorming" minigames mentioned above, we are going to massively enrich your corporate life! Future versions will add multiple new companies you can join (each featuring its own distinct storylines and unique corporate culture for you to experience). Meanwhile, we will further flesh out the in-game KPI Performance Evaluation System to bring you the most authentic (and perhaps a bit painfully realistic!) workplace experience.

Grinding out the "Peak of Life" Chapter (Phase 3: The Startup Dream)
Tired of working for someone else? No problem! The highly anticipated "Be Your Own Boss" content (the third part of the game) is in active development! In this phase, you will experience an entirely different core gameplay loop: you'll need to pitch to investors for funding, recruit like-minded team members, officially form your studio to develop games, decide on core game systems, attend gaming expos, and more. A ton of brand-new interactive features are on the way, guaranteed to fulfill your ultimate Game Producer fantasies! Steam post image
(WIP)
New Scenes, New NPCs, New Storylines, and New Surprises (Ongoing development—we welcome your ideas and wild concepts!)
(WIP)
Gameplay Optimizations & Adjustments
This Playtest is just our first small step. Once the new content mentioned above reaches a certain stage of development, we will be hosting more testing phases in the future!
In the meantime, we hope you'll keep an eye on our community updates. It would also be amazing if you could drop us a Wishlist on Steam! We look forward to reuniting with you in the next test, bringing a richer and more polished experience.
