Changes:

The game now features a checkpoint system for saving progress.

Checkpoints are placed manually by the player by holding either of the bumper buttons on the gamepad or Q/E on the keyboard.

You can only place 3 checkpoints per playthrough and placing a checkpoint spends a significant portion of either your movement speed or your rate of fire (depending on which button you pressed), so plan ahead with your placement.

Reloading from a checkpoint sets your score back to zero and puts you at the start of the level on which you placed your checkpoint.

Restarting from the first level or the Tutorial resets your checkpoints. Playing Co-Op mode does not reset them.

As always, any feedback on this new feature is appreciated. Bug Fixes:

Changed how the Pause Menu is handled to avoid getting stuck on the Options menu in Co-Op mode.

Fixed a bug where returning to the Title Screen from Co-Op mode could leave a player ship on-screen.
