Infestation has spread to the vaults, rooms are infected, mutated enemies are crawling out of them, and a new boss is guarding weapon blueprints worth fighting for. The v1.3.0 Infestation Update is out now.

Survive the Infestation
Infected rooms bring a new objective: shoot every Infestation Bulb to stop the spread before it overruns the ship. Two new infested enemies spawn from these rooms, and they don't always stay put; sometimes they breach containment and hunt you down elsewhere.
Face Zubica
A new boss takes flight with deadly spores, fast aerial strikes, and infected blobs. Beat her and claim the blueprints for the infected weapon.
New infected weapon
An experimental rifle with a rapid three-round burst. High-impact rounds infect whatever they hit, and the integrated scope plus digital ammo counter keep you sharp in the chaos.
Infection element
The new Infection element turns the infestation into your weapon. Infected enemies burst into spores that spread to everything nearby, chaining into more infections. It runs on the same three-tier system as the other elements, the rest you'll discover in the field.

Added an icon for upgrades you can't afford in the shop

Added collider on Brutus / Ajax backpack
Added slider ramp-up on hold for value changes
Added clear distinction between enemy and player ground effects
Balance & Tweaks
Increased meta-progression credits rewards
Increased XP-gain from kill-streaks (double, triple, etc)
Increased Nyra fire-rate while doing 'in air' attack
Increased Nyra dash speed while in overdrive
Increased Nyra movement and fly speed by ~10%
Reduced amount of different elements needed for elementalist unlock from 4 → 3
Reduced Jetpacker flamethrower direct impact damage from 4 → 2
Reduced Jetpacker base health from 900 → 820
Reduced A.R.G.U.S. laser hitbox size by 10%
Reduced A.R.G.U.S. spinning speed by 20%
Slightly increased A.R.G.U.S. height above ground while spinning
Made Challenge description indicate Captain / Lieutenant instead of 'boss / mini-boss'
Added damage falloff for prestige upgrades and increased falloff distance (instead of only increasing falloff start)
Hyper Shatterer now has infinite piercing before first impact, allowing it to always shatter on environment impact
Supply Cart bomb bigger and animated
Supply Cart extra indicator to show it's an objective until bomb is destroyed
Juiced up Almighty Bomber explosion
Player footstep sounds play less frequent
Fixes
Fixed shader pre-compilation (engine side bug fixed): removes stutters on first-time playing
Fixed some inconsistencies in upgrade descriptions
Fixed horizontal and vertical recoil multipliers being swapped
Fixed a tiny offset to the left when firing
Fixed disintegrate effect on A.R.G.U.S. and WYR-MECHA
Fixed rings stuck in air when killing A.R.G.U.S.
Fixed Unloader drone not showing elemental effects
Fixed hard-cut before respawn print
Fixed hard-cut when intro cinematic plays
Fixed run timer continuing during pause / cinematics
Fixed WYR-MECHA bombs staying after boss died
Fixed Blink movement ability not triggering correctly with dedicated binding

Fixed a bunch of controller navigation issues in CustomRunUI
Fixed grenade and weapon 'Upgrade' not reacting to controller input
Fixed skin toggle responding to wrong controller button
Fixed issue where buttons would stay next to the grenade selection screen when closing it
Fixed issue where you didn't hear a sound when selecting between grenades with controller
Fixed controller navigation in the difficulty selection
Fixed mouse focus lost / incorrect after alt-tab
Reduced grenadier grenade cook speed, slightly increased throw animation speed
Some safeguards against crashes (mainly on high enemy counts)
Jump in, clear the infection, and turn it loose on everything in your way.
