Galactic Speed Legends changes
Hello everyone!
Over the past weeks, we've made some difficult design decisions about the future of Speed Legends. Those decisions have pushed the Early Access release back a little, but we believe they've taken the game in the right direction.
The original demo was built around the core arcade racing experience: jump into an event, synchronize your machine, and race.
As development continued, we felt the game deserved something more. Rather than simply adding more races, we've been building a single-player journey where your goal is to become the next Galactic Speed Legend.
Along the way, you'll meet new characters, take on optional challenges, place wagers, earn GX, and gradually unlock new ways to approach each championship—all while preserving the fast, skill-based racing that defines Speed Legends.
Introducing the Upgrade Shop
One of the biggest additions coming to Early Access is the new Upgrade Shop.
Instead of simply moving from one race to the next, victories now reward you with GX, which can be spent on experimental modules and support technologies between events.
The Upgrade Shop isn't about making races easier or guaranteeing victories. Every upgrade is designed to let players shape their own journey by introducing new strategic options, additional support systems, and different ways to prepare for upcoming events.
Every purchase becomes a meaningful decision, adding a layer of progression that simply didn't exist in the demo.
More to Come
The Upgrade Shop is only one part of the new progression experience we're building for Early Access. We'll be sharing more features and development updates as we get closer to launch.
Thank you to everyone who played the demo, added GALACTIC SPEED LEGENDS to their wishlist.
See you in Early Access!
