Galactic Center VR changes
The Chandra X-ray Observatory and NASA made a press release about "Galactic Center VR" stemming from the presentation of the app by lead developer and IA PUC VR Lab director Dr. Christopher Russell at the 236th American Astronomical Society (AAS) meeting on June 2, 2020. There was a press conference where Dr. Russell did a live demo of this VR experience from his living room, which were accompanied by press articles on NASA's and Chandra's website.

This coincided with Version 2 of GCVR, which now contains 500 years of evolution! No more static stars and winds -- now you can see enerything in action, including material plummet towards Sgr A*, the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way galaxy.
