Repeated intro

Hello everyone, Firstly, I want to thank everybody for supporting the game and spreading the word. The support for GAIN has been overwhelming. The development of GAIN was one of the most challenging and painful experiences of my life. I hired over 100 team members and spent one year and 6 months in development for something that should have taken 3-4 months. Key members kept leaving, bugs kept appearing and I had to sort all of this while trying to complete a degree. To top it all off, GAIN flopped, big time. The average amount of copies sold on steam is 32,000 (according to steamspy) but we sold less than 200 copies. I will not even discuss the amount of money I put into this game, I spent everything I had (student loans and jobs) and suffered personally and health wise because of it. I worked as a cleaner, car washer, leaflet distributor and other various jobs to fund development. 10-12 hour game development work days were the norm. The development left me completely broke. Despite all of that hard work and money, I failed completely. I have read and watched the reviews. The common issues are to due with hitboxes, AI,overall polish plus a bunch of other things. When you are in development for so long, it becomes really easy to miss the obvious. All you are focused on is releasing the product because you have a deadline. So does this mean that I will abandon GAIN and run off? No. I'am debating on whether I should develop GAIN 2 (this will be free) or release a massive patch. Unlike many developers in this situation, I accept full responsibility. I will not rant or rave because I understand that quality of the game solely rests on its creator. I want to be the best game developer and this experience will not hold me back. I will learn and move forward. Anyway, I will keep you updated. follow me on twitter for updates (https://twitter.com/worldgame01) and type what you want to see in the new update. Thank you, Michael Odetola Peace out...... Edit: I hired 100 people over one year and six months not at once..
