Full Sail Ahead! We're back and faster than ever after docking for a game engine and performance upgrade. Thanks to all the VR pirates who eagerly awaited on standby for us to set out to sea once again. Treasure awaits ye!
New Additions
Added in foam trails behind ships.
Graphics Settings
Access through Pause Menu > Settings > Graphics
Lowering quality options will improve frame rate.
Added MSAA options.
Added Bloom Quality options.
Added Sail Animation options.
Added Water Reflections option.
Improvements
Up to 50% performance improvement due optimizations that include reductions to memory and CPU usage.
Unity Engine version upgrade.
Enhanced ‘X-Ray’ effect rendering.
Significant lighting system optimizations.
Task threading system to increase performance.
Reduction of loading stalls during gameplay.
Bug Fixes
Fixes for rendering distant islands.
Fixes for lighting system.
Fix for memory leak with pooled objects.
