| Hanna | Many years ago, when I was as little as you, a war broke out in this village on this day. | |
| Hanna's Child | What! There was a war here? | |
| Hanna | Yes. I saw huge airships blocking out the burning sunset, very similar to the sky we see today. | |
| Hanna | Tanks surrounded the village, too... | |
| Hanna's Child | Were you scared, Mama? | |
| Hanna | Yes. People you know, like Malt, Mei, Boron, and Socks were swept into the war along with me. | |
| Hanna | Then, we all fought together. | |
| Hanna | Your father, Kyle, was there, too. | |
| Hanna's Child | Papa, too? Say, where is Papa? | |
| Hanna | I wonder about that, too. | |
| Hanna | He is strong and kind, so I'm sure he's doing well. | |
| Hanna | Even though he's not here, I'm sure he's watching over us. | |
| Hanna's Child | I want to meet him one day... | |
| Hanna | I'm sure you will. Someday. |
