removedWhat's in the next update? The next update will bring us the final third part of the story, forever removing the (EA) from the dialogue options. The story will feature three extra endings, one of which is canon. Every ending comes with its own CG and has its own purpose of explaining certain things in the overarching story, so I'm excited to see what everyone will think of them. The build is currently being reviewed by me and my QA volunteers, so I hope to be able to deliver the update in the coming two weeks.
changedSoon-to-come features and other nice-to-(must-)havesThere are a few features that are in the works, like the CG gallery, music gallery and such. I didn't have the time to look into better ambient sounds though, so that is certainly something I want to do before implementing any other features. Same goes for the UI rework. I want to have these features/improvements in order to make players be able to experience the story even better than now.
addedPlanned DLCDLC is a scary thing, but worry not, this thing I have planned won't affect the game in any way. Honestly, I just wanted to make a small artbook featuring the CGs and the characters' sprites with a bit of commentary from the team. I don't have a price in mind just yet as there are still a lot of things that I have to add to the game itself.

A lot of things happened since November of last year: the release of the game into Early Access, release of Ryn's route and a lot of behind-the-screen work. January was no exception for that rule, as I worked on the project pretty much every day. This is why I'm glad to show you all the overview of incoming changes, plans and developments.

What's in the next update?

The next update will bring us the final third part of the story, forever removing the (EA) from the dialogue options. The story will feature three extra endings, one of which is canon. Planned DLC

DLC is a scary thing, but worry not, this thing I have planned won't affect the game in any way. Honestly, I just wanted to make a small artbook featuring the CGs and the characters' sprites with a bit of commentary from the team. I don't have a price in mind just yet as there are still a lot of things that I have to add to the game itself.

Conclusion

There's still a lot of work ahead of us, but January proved to be a very productive month. A lot of decisions were made and the story is about to get its finale. All we need, is just a bit more time to review everything.

Thanks for your time and we'll see each-other soon in the final part of the story of From Beyond, WCoMF Team
