Additions:

  1. Controller support!

    • Controller support has been implemented

    • Input can also be remapped once a controller is connected

  2. A speedrun timer will now be displayed during speedrun mode:

    • it will start counting as soon as the beginning cutscene starts

    • it will count even during cutscenes or pause menu

    • final time is determined after you land the last hit on the final boss

    • as of now the timer is only used as a frame of reference and the record won't be saved in any way

Input related Fixes:

  • Arrow keys can now be mapped

  • Control Settings can now be cancelled by clicking outside the button

  • The layout has been rearranged to be less cramped and slightly more organised

  • Seperated the "interaction" input for door entrance and what not from the "down" input

  • Entering the level in the world map now uses the remappable Jump input as supposed to just the Space Key

Other Fixes:

  • Going to the End of the Demo on the map crashes the game

  • Coin bonus animation after completing the level is now the same regardless of how much bonus you get

  • Mouse position is incorrect when start the game up in full screen

  • Fixed an issue where starting in speedrun mode sometimes doesn't put you at the beginning of the map

  • Completing the game in speedrun mode now properly wipes the save file

  • Tutorials are remade to be more simplistic

  • Some dialogue changes

Gameplay changes:

  • Check points can now be activated by simply walking past them

  • Collecting a Gem now only register after you're grounded, but it stays collected regardless if you reached a check point or not

Boss fight related changes:

  • Umbrella Knight nerfed. She now closes her umbrella immedietely after being tapped

  • Lily will now always attempt to throw her broom after gaurding 10 times

  • Fixed an issue where Lily was able to hit the crystals off-screen
