Even more habitats have received a major facelift, and NEW habitats have arrived!
You may notice that the "Lily Pond" home habitat is now much more sparse, but now you can add the decor!
The final batch of habitats to be reworked will feature their redesigns in the next patch.

🛠 PATCH NOTES / CHANGELOG
New to"Frog Up!" v0.9_gamma_2:
Mechanics
Brand new habitats have been added to the game, and with them, tons of new frogs to discover!
"Aye-Aye-Land": a lush island habitat that harbors a plethora of elusive frogs!
"Cloud Islands": a remote island habitat with some of the most ancient frog species around!
New items have been added to Patches' shop for purchase:
Mushrooms/Fungus: "Neonothopanus", "Werewere-kōkako"
Plants/Flowers: "Darwin's Orchid", "Liana Vine", "Silver Fern"
Trees: "Oak Tree", "Acacia Tree", "Mahogany Tree", "Baobab Tree"
Nature: "Quartz Crystal", "Frog Fossil"
Decor: "Flower Pot", "Picnic Basket", "Picnic Blanket", "Trellis Fence", "Picket Fence"
Lighting: "Campfire", "Lantern Post"
Keys: "Baobab Seed Pod", "Pounamu Hei-Tiki"
Certain placed items, such as the "Campfire" & "Lantern Post", come with light effects, lighting up the area around them at varying levels & colors.
Design & Polish
The "Safari Savanna", "No Man's Grove", & "Zonama Rainforest" habitats have all been given a major facelift, and now they look way better!
Frogs should never spawn or hop above a habitat's horizon line now, if the habitat has a horizon line.
Assets & Optimization
A prototype for a frog "previewer" tool has been added to the source files, alongside other standalone tools like the item "crafter" and the habitat "builder"...
Bug Fixes & Other Issues
BIG habitat code refactoring! I finally modularized a lot of redundant code, and further centralized the gameplay/rendering pipeline.
Nothing to see on your end (hopefully) besides way more frogs, but it should make the update process a whole lot smoother for me!
Item names in Patches' shop should now fit better, without getting clipped on the edges.
Patches' shop should now display "MAX" text (instead of a 'new' cost) for items whose maximum limit has been reached.
Miscellaneous code & text changes.

Tentative full game support for MAC, LINUX & STEAM operating systems!
Massive DESIGN OVERHAUL for older habitats to make them look better!

Frog Fact of the Day:
The "Mexican Burrowing Toad" apparently diverged from other amphibians over 190 million years ago, and has been evolving independently since before mammals like us or fruit bats or freakin' whales even diverged from our shrew-like ancestors. This frog certainly look it, too! ːsteammockingː
