FreeStyle Football 2 changes
We would like to inform you about the latest updates implemented to provide a smoother gaming experience.
This update will be applied sequentially as a maintenance-free patch by midnight tonight, and the timing of the application may vary by platform.
Please refer to the details below for more information.
â– Improvements & Fixes
: Fixed an issue where certain kick Freestyle skills did not trigger properly as intended.
: Improved the system to ensure skills activate more reliably when attempting a direct kick or kicking immediately after receiving (trapping) the ball.
: Fixed an issue where kicking was delayed/slow during dribbling.
: Fixed an issue where, during a direct kick, characters would walk with short steps to wait for a ball that could have been handled quickly, almost coming to a complete stop.
â– Balance Adjustments
Reduced Shooting Gauge Influence Near the Goal
: The influence of the shooting gauge has been slightly mitigated at close distances to the goal.
: Through this, you can expect more intuitive shooting results in close-range situations, such as 1-on-1 breakaway chances.
GK Movement Buffed
: The movement speed and responsiveness of the Goalkeeper (GK) have been increased.
: In particular, the GK's ability to position and react during passes in front of the goal, cutbacks, and cross situations has been improved.
Header Shot Balance Adjustments
: The scoring success rate of header shots has been adjusted downward.
â– Character-Related Fixes
'Qri' FreeStyle Skill Fix
: Fixed an issue where the skill charge count was reduced along with the skill effect even when the Killer Move was not triggered properly.
â– Matching System 1st Improvement
To provide a more polished matchmaking environment after the 2nd CBT, we have been continuously working on advancing the skill-based matchmaking (MMR) system.
However, during this Media Day period, because the number of participants varied greatly by country and the overall user pool was limited, we had temporarily eased the matchmaking criteria to ensure smooth matchmaking in certain regions.
After carefully reviewing the gameplay data and matchmaking status in major regions, including South Korea, we have decided to move up the schedule for applying the advanced matchmaking rules in order to provide a fairer competitive environment.
Accordingly, the 1st improvement for the matchmaking system has been applied on June 12 (Fri), and a more enhanced matchmaking system will be implemented through the 2nd update on June 14 (Sun) at 15:00 (UTC).
Following the system application, we expect you to enjoy fairer and tighter matches against rivals suited to your skill level.
We plan to continue making ongoing improvements based on gameplay data and your valuable feedback in the future.
We will always do our best to provide a more satisfying gaming environment.
Thank you.
