Hello dear adventurers! We have released a quick update to fix the startup problem that many experienced with a recent steam client update and it should be solved now!

Hello dear adventurers! We have released a quick update to fix the startup problem that many experienced with a recent steam client update and it should be solved now! We have also taken away the beta branches since now you can make minor adjustments yourself in the options.ini file in case you are having troubles with the game and we will provide a guide on how to do that. In case you are still unable to open the game by various reasons, make sure you are not in a beta branch! To make changes in how the game starts, you can now try different methods easily in the options.ini file that lives in the game folder! How to find the options file:

  1. Right click Fran Bow in your library and choose properties
  2. Go to LOCAL FILES and click BROWSE LOCAL FILES
  3. Find the file called "options.ini" and open it
  4. Follow the intructions mentioned there! Since we had to revert to an older version of steam api, Fran Bow might "crash" when you exit the game but this won't affect anything so don't worry :)
