Hello,
This update has been released for two important reasons. First, to clean up technical issues based on your feedback. Second, to officially introduce Late Lines FM, the second game in the Fragments of Dread series.
Let’s start with the technical side of the update:
🔧 The Fatal Error issue has been fixed 🔧 Several lighting problems have been resolved 🔧 Small but impactful bugs have been eliminated 🌍 Language translations have been reviewed and improved for consistency
The Fatal Error issue became clear thanks to the messages many of you sent me directly. I carefully read every piece of feedback, and with this update, I was able to fully resolve the problem. Thank you sincerely for your patience and support.
About Late Lines FM
With this update, no new gameplay-affecting content has been added to False Haven. I want to be very clear about that.
However:
A Late Lines FM showcase section has been added to the main menu • A Late Lines FM trailer has been placed at the end of the game
The reason for this is simple: I can now talk more clearly and openly about the second game in the series.
Compared to False Haven, Late Lines FM will:
Offer a longer gameplay experience • Aim for a denser atmosphere with improved visual quality • Be built around a unique, game-specific core mechanic
The game is set in 2002 and preserves a strong retro atmosphere. This time, the setting is a radio station where the main character works.
Night shifts, live broadcasts, analog equipment, frequency interference, and strange moments during transmissions… With the radio station theme, I aim to create a different kind of atmosphere I haven’t explored before in the series.
Late Lines FM will also feature:
Original songs created specifically for the game • Custom-designed ambient sounds and broadcasts • Sound-driven moments directly tied to the story
There is one important point I want to clearly emphasize:
Each game in the Fragments of Dread series tells a different story in a different setting. Late Lines FM is not a continuation of False Haven’s story. It is designed as a standalone experience set within the same universe.
Thank you sincerely to everyone who supported the project, shared feedback, and is curious about the series. I’m planning to release a demo for Late Lines FM very soon.
If you’d like to support the project: 👉 You can add Late Lines FM to your wishlist 👉 You can follow the game on its Steam page
These two small actions make a huge difference in helping the game reach more players, and they mean a lot to me personally.
False Haven was the beginning of this journey. The next stop is a night shift.
Same universe. Different story. Different frequency. 📻
