addedWe are excited to announce that with this update we are exiting early access. Throughout the years we have worked on this game we have learned a lot and gained a lot of experience! This was our team's first ever game and it felt very daunting at times, but now we are really happy to bring this game to a point where we believe that it is fully complete! With the 1.0 update we have added quite a few things and made some big changes as well! We have added a final boss for each of the families to face off against, a new background that has interesting mechanics, and also changed how enemies spawning works! In addition we have quite a few smaller changes that are quite impactful. For further details please read below:
addedNew Bosses - We have added 3 new final bosses, one for each of the remaining families that didn’t have a final boss associated with it. All of these new bosses have unique mechanics that are going to pose a fun challenge for players!
addedNew Background - We have added one new background that will give the players an interesting new playstyle.
changedEnemies Spawning Changes - We have changed enemies spawning to wave based. Now enemies will spawn in groups at the start of a wave and before the next wave starts any enemies that remain will die. This was done to help with the performance of the game and to adjust the overall difficulty, making the game a bit tougher. Previously, if you weren’t able to kill enemies they would stick around and prevent a stronger enemy from spawning, but with these new changes those older, weaker enemies are removed and replaced with scaled, and often different, members of the same family.
addedAll followers have unique art for their ascenions now This new art will show up in the pause menu and ascensions screens, replacing the placeholder "A" and "B" symbols.
addedThe game now has steam achievements enabled! Any already earned achievements should be unlocked on Steam when you first start the game, but it can take a few restarts for Steam to properly update

    • Face a dreadful bird that will steal your hard work

    • Defend yourself against a council of wizards

    • Face off against a horde of aliens

  2. New Background - We have added one new background that will give the players an interesting new playstyle.

  3. Enemies Spawning Changes - We have changed enemies spawning to wave based. Now enemies will spawn in groups at the start of a wave and before the next wave starts any enemies that remain will die. This was done to help with the performance of the game and to adjust the overall difficulty, making the game a bit tougher. Minor changes:

  1. Follower ascension variant art

    • All followers have unique art for their ascenions now

  2. Steam achievements

    • The game now has steam achievements enabled!
