Fortification: tower defence changes
Changes for January 2021
Added a health scale
Added a flashing base damage indicator
Added rocket launcher
Added background interior, the one that appears if you take damage or move far from the main battle map.
Added an indicator of the estimated position of the base on the map, when choosing a map seed.
Added seed search among verified
Added sound of second hand when it is possible to escape.
Now, when generating a route on the map, if the route gets to a dead end, it tries to cut through the exit. Now making a bad route with a random seed is less likely.
Now the rocket in base is moving in UI
Now you can build with the number buttons on the keyboard
Now the base blows smoke if there is very little health
Now your buildings are displayed on the map
looking control has been changed from mouse wheel to right mouse button.
bug fix: the construction buttons panel can no longer be moved with the mouse.
bug fix: when the score of the previous round was summed up with the current one
removed test red pixel on the map when injecting seed
fixed a bug when the lasergun fired with fixed damage at any distance, now the closer the target, the more damage.
increased damage for minigun but decreased accuracy
fixed critical error when the current map was gradually replaced by the previous one during the game. Unfortunately, this led to other problems, but not so critical.
increased camera speed to move with wasd buttons
These are the most significant changes in January.
what's next? in February, I will try to add floor traps which I didn't manage to add in January. I'll add more sounds: upgrades, damage, bullet collisions, etc. I will try to make models of objects for the interior background. make more animations for robots. as before, I ask you to tell me about bugs found, in a dedicated theme in the game community.
