Improved Visuals

  • Improved visuals for tropical biomes including lighting, new grass, rocks, flowers, and land details.

  • Improved visuals for forest biomes including new trees, bushes, grass, flowers and ground details.

Scope Mode: New, Improved Combat System

  • A Scope may be accessed while mounted by pressing right click

  • All cannon boats now have a right click to scope and left click to fire feature

  • A Player may target enemies simply by hovering their mouse on the enemy in scope mode.

  • A Player may now fire the cannons while in scope mode by simply pressing left click

Other Changes:

  • Player ship speeds increased by 150%

  • Increased zoom speed while mounted on a ship and also while mounted in Scope Mode

  • Optimized the fog in certain areas for better performance

  • Players can now speed up the night by sleeping in a bed or hammock

  • Optimization tweaks in mid-game.

New Missions and Items

  • New Dread Pirate II Stamp Quest at the Bounty Board.

  • Accepting the quest will spawn the Dread Pirate Ship at a random location

  • New Treasure Map Stamp Quest at Captain Nyx.

  • New Tropical, Forest and Swamp Surveyors can be accessed at Sir Jim's Stamp.

  • Hidden Islands can now be controlled by the players by using a surveyor (see note)

Note: Placing a surveyor will guarantee the "hidden island" of your choice to spawn next (within 1 hr). Placing more than 1 Surveyor on the land at a time will result in the last placed Surveyor's island showing. Surveyors automatically disappear after a few hours and may need to be obtained again.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where screen resolution drop down was not reflecting current resolution

  • Fixed an issue where the front pyramid door doesn't always spawn.

  • Fixed an issue where the vault could have incorrect items on multiplayer.

  • Fixed an issue with the hurricane clouds where light would flash significantly brighter or darker based on sun location.
