Competition Editor

Pot distribution

The new Pot distribution mode lets you control how teams are spread across pots when the numbers do not divide evenly.

There are two options: Balanced and Overflow to last pot. Swiss-style league stages use Balanced by default, while all other stages use Overflow to last pot.

For example, in the EU Cup Qualifiers, the Overflow option leaves Pot 5 with five more teams than the other pots.

If you switch to Balanced, teams are spread evenly so each pot contains 11 teams.

That said, Balanced may not work well for every stage. In the EU Cup Qualifiers, it can place more than one Pot 1 team in the same group. That is because there are 11 teams per pot but only 10 groups. To make it work properly, you would need to increase the number of groups to 11.

Seeding Rules

Seeding rules are now more flexible, with each rule split into separate Sort by and Sort order options. Previously, only fixed combinations were available, such as Seeding Value: Asc or Elo Rating: Desc.

Now you can configure the direction independently, allowing combinations like Seeding Value: Desc or Elo Rating: Asc. This lets you fully invert the seeding order, so teams like San Marino could end up in Pot 1 and France in Pot 5.

Interface Improvement

The editor has been reorganized into more tabs, including Seeding and Structure, to make the interface cleaner and easier to navigate. This update also improves the layout and fixes several bugs.

Bug Fixes & Misc

Matches should appear again in the Records section of a coach page.

European Club League A should run again.

The confederation ranking on team cards should show the correct ranking.

Fixed a bug that assigned hosts to the wrong groups in the 2026 World Cup finals.

Adjusted the attribute so it will not drop too much after several seasons.
