Useful Export By Year Tool

If your save has become very massive, like you've already got to the year of 10000. You may consider archiving your save using the new "Export by year" tool. It can export your seasonal progress into smaller periods to keep your game fast.

For example, you can export the recent 1000 years (e.g., Year 9,000 to 10,000) and import it (Use the Merge option) to start a new save. And for the legacy data (2026 - 9000), just export them and save it to your disk.

This also isn't just for archiving. You can export any period to branch off and start a new timeline whenever you want.

Files generated by this tool contain only seasonal data including matches, team attributes, coaches, presidents, winners and hosts. They do not include tags, rivalries, or edited competitions. (That's why you need to use the "Merge" option when import.) If you want to include them, you need to use the "Export" tab to export them individually.

When importing the files, you must use the Merge option for each file to ensure they combine correctly.
