But first, we know some of you might be curious about the recent changes with 9 lives and what’s going on behind the scenes. Instead of explaining everything here, we’ve got it all laid out in this graphic we posted on social media:

changedWe don’t just aim to compete - we strive to raise the bar. Within the same genre and price range, we make it a point to deliver more value to players, offering rich, immersive experiences that set us apart.
changedTake Forester Simulator's vehicle system, for example. In most job simulation games, driving mechanics are often simplified, and vehicle damage is predictable and basic. But in Forester Simulator, the driving experience is dynamic and interconnected. Your off-road vehicle will rock and sway, and you’ll witness the suspension working in real-time.

Now that we’ve cleared things up, let’s dive into the main event of today’s devlog—exciting new updates for Forester Simulator!

At 9 lives, we aim to go beyond the conventional boundaries of game development. Every title we develop is designed to address the needs and desires that other developers tend to overlook. But there’s more to what makes our games stand out.

We don’t just aim to compete - we strive to raise the bar. Within the same genre and price range, we make it a point to deliver more value to players, offering rich, immersive experiences that set us apart.

Take Forester Simulator's vehicle system, for example. In most job simulation games, driving mechanics are often simplified, and vehicle damage is predictable and basic. But in Forester Simulator, the driving experience is dynamic and interconnected. Your off-road vehicle will rock and sway, and you’ll witness the suspension working in real-time.

Drive carefully, unless you're ready to pay for the repairs.

And that's not all - our game features an advanced vehicle destruction system! Minor damages, like a loose bumper or hood, are just the beginning. Push your vehicle too hard, and you’ll risk breaking doors or losing your headlights, which could make navigating the forest at night a real challenge.

Crash testing is one of the most exciting parts of the testing process.

But don’t worry - your forester won’t be stranded. You'll be able to repair even a totaled vehicle, though repairs will require resources. And if you can’t afford to fix it, you might find yourself trekking through the wilderness to the nearest fast travel point - assuming, of course, you've built one! Stay tuned, because there's much more to uncover about the world and mechanics of Forester Simulator.

If you want to be even closer to the development process - you are more than welcome to join our Discord server and ask us any questions! You can also follow us on X and Facebook.

Remember to wishlist Forester Simulator! Thanks! 9 lives team
