National team mods are available for single-player in the World Championship DLC

New!

Previously, national team modifications were only used in hotseat game modes.

Now, we let you use national team modifications when creating a new single-player campaign. The following data from the modifications will be used:

• National team names

• National team logos

• National team kits

This lets you make the game world more realistic or completely customise the national teams to your liking, creating your own unique fantasy world.

Footballers' names, tournament rules and other elements from modifications are not used in a single-player game. This information is only needed for hotseat games and the 2026 World Championship mode.

Other improvements

• [Major bug fixed] - the arrows in the league table after a match showed an incorrect change in positions.

• [Quality of Life] - when viewing a scheduled match, we added an Info button that shows additional match information: substitutions, goals, cards, etc.

• [Quality of Life] - on the tables screen, we made the tab icons less blurry so they are easier to look at.

• [Balance] - we changed the order of selecting home and away teams in the final stages of the Continental Championship and World Championship. In the first knockout match after the group stage, the first team is the group winner (for example, it will always be A1-B2, and not vice versa). In group matches and other knockout matches, the first team is the one ranked higher in the national team rankings.

• [Balance] - we slightly increased the priority of Giftedness for the AI when selecting footballers for national teams.

• [Balance] - we introduced some changes to the world simulation that will lead to a slight increase in the number of the following footballers:

  • FW with various skill combinations, apart from the standard Cannon Shot / Rainbow Feint

  • AM with a priority in Accuracy.

  • These changes will be quite minor. Additionally, they will gradually accumulate over many seasons.

• [Texts] - added some fixes to the Polish localisation.

• [Crash fixed] - in the last two DLCs, the game crashed upon launch in Polish.

I also ask you to leave a review for the base game, because negative reviews from players who played for 20 minutes and didn't figure things out significantly lower the game's rating, meaning FTG will appear less in Steam searches.
