New Mechanics Overview

🌍 1) Footballer nationalities and national team tournaments

View on Steam Since that article was written, a few things have changed:

  • The World Championship will feature 32 nations in the final stage.

  • If you select too few countries on each continent for the world simulation, the World Cup will be disabled.

  • However, we are introducing a new, much faster way to simulate countries. I'll share more details on this in the coming weeks.

  • The original article mentions using the existing country rankings for seeding. However, we’ve since decided that a dedicated national team ranking system is necessary. This will be included in the game, and I'll cover it in a separate news update.

  • The article also states there would be no limit on the number of foreign players in a squad. However, we have decided to introduce a limit that you can configure before starting a campaign. We believe that limiting the number of foreigners makes the late-game more engaging.

Final Words

These are not the only features coming in the next DLC. It will also include automated transfer searching, a significantly reworked world simulation and AI system, new countries, and numerous minor tweaks.

However, the linked articles provide an in-depth look at how the primary new mechanics will function.

The DLC is arriving very soon, so don’t forget to add it to your Wishlist:
