Update 1 : Card Combos & The Corrupted Rift

The first major update for Flux Ascendant is here. Fuse your cards into evolved

abilities, master new powers, re-roll your draft, and then take it all into a

brand-new endless mode where the only way out is how many you can cut down.

⚡ Card Combos

Certain cards were meant to be together. Carry the right active and passive at the

same time and the game will offer you their fusion: a single, evolved ability

that replaces the pair and inherits the best of both.

  • Planetary Bastion (Rock Throw + Gravity Well) : three asynchronous rings of orbiting rock grind down anything that drifts too close, and you keep Gravity Well's pickup magnet.

  • Glacier Carousel (Ice Shard + Ice Sprint) : Ice Shard now fires in a full 360° spiral (amplified by Multishot and Water mastery) while you keep Ice Sprint's speed.

  • Ember Sunburst (Fireball + Ember Shield) : every pulse of your ember aura releases a pinwheel of fireballs.

  • Chaos Apocalypse (Chaos Bolt + Multishot) : keeps the chaos-bolt barrage, and every other weapon you fire spits out extra homing bolts.

  • Chain Lightning (Thunder Strike + Conductivity) : every projectile arcs a chain of lightning between enemies (more hops at higher tiers, scales with Multishot), with a fiery burst on the first strike.

  • Karmic Calm (Burning Inside + Healing Rain) : our first passive + passive fusion: a steady heal of 1% max HP every 2s, and every 30s a wave of calm vaporizes the lesser corrupted around you.

✨ New Abilities

Three new cards join the pool , two of them double as combo ingredients above.

  • Earthquake (Earth, active) : a ground-pounding AoE pulse that shakes the corrupted around you. Radius and damage grow with tier.

  • Burning Inside (Fire, passive) : high risk, high reward: it burns you from within (1% max HP per tick, yes, it can kill you), but every few stacks it erupts in a fire explosion that scorches everything nearby.

  • Ice Sprint (Water, passive) : a permanent speed boost that scales with level, trailing ice shards behind you as you run.

🎲 Re-roll Your Draft

Don't settle for a bad hand. Unlock the Librarian's re-rolls back at the base and

bank a handful per run, spend one to regenerate your current card offer.

🌀 The Corrupted Rift : Endless Mode

A new portal appears at the base once you finish the game for the first time. Beyond it the dark mage hoards his fallen followers ,

an endless tide of the corrupted, clawing to break loose.

  • No victory, only the hunt: There is no boss to end it. You survive as long as you can and count every kill.

  • The 20-minute corruption: The corruption spares no one: with every passing moment it devours the life you can hold, shrinking your usable HP until nothing is left to give. Stall and it claims you anyway , there is no turtling here.

  • Every kill counts: The fallen still feed your Mastery, bosses included, so even a doomed run makes you permanently stronger.

  • Chase your best wave: Your furthest run is tracked , how deep can you go before the Rift takes you?
