For example, here’s a fun fact we’ve shared before about capybara feet 📔

• Capybaras have 4 toes in front, and 3 in the back.

• The webbing between their toes helps them swim, but also spreads their weight over the mud. This lets them run faster when the ground is slick or especially squishy.

• Capybaras don’t have backward knees! The first joint up from their toes is an ankle, which also means… capybaras walk on their tippy-toes like ballerinas!
