We take up some issues mentioned in the Early Access road map and changed the legacy gaze input based input system into a more intuitive controller based laser pointer menu navigation.
The ingame scenes got a polish due to lighting updates and improved shading, so that they appear more realistic. The cover image contains the lightning before the update on the left side and after the update on the right side, so you can see the difference.
A fix for a rare occurring ship staggering after restart ingame is also delivered. Have a look at the details:
User interface improvements
The legacy gaze pointer has been replaced with a controller based laserpointer.
Visualizing VR controllers, which implies updated controller bindings
Better contrasting hover and press of the menubuttons against the background
Graphical ingame improvements
Higher resolution skyboxes and textures
Updated shaders for better lighting and reflections of the respective material
More intensive direct lights, lightmaps updated
normal maps adjustments, e.g. the ships surfaces are defined less bumpy
Planet Earth is now visible in the titlescreen to the left, rearranged ships
Misc.
Fixed: Sometimes staggering after restart at last gate
