New
Added experimental DXVK support. Enabling this option should vastly enhance the performance and drastically reduce the amount of crashes on supported machines.
DXVK can be enabled and disabled in the settings.
For machines that are not supported, DXVK will automatically be disabled.
Overhauled experience distribution in parties. We have completely rebuilt the system responsible for distributing experience in parties, allowing us to get rid of some old and nasty bugs, while also tailoring it exactly the way we wanted to. Some of the major changes with this overhaul are as follows:
Only party members who are in proximity to each other share their experience. Players who are further away do not contribute or take away any experience.
While the amount of members in a party still reduce the individually gained experience, lower level players now do not penalize the party anymore. Instead, the contribution to the party of each player is "weighed" in accordance to their level. Lower level players will therefore get a reduced share of the overall experience, while higher level players (who have a higher contribution "weight" due to their level) will receive a larger amount.
If the level difference between two or more players in proximity to each other is higher than 14 levels, no experience will be given to any player.
Please note: This change only applies to parties on land! We will update sea with the upcoming patch.
