Patch Notes: Quest Tracking, Map Guidance, Performance, and UI Improvements
This update improves player guidance, fixes several quest flow issues, refines tooltip and camera behavior, and expands performance optimizations across all maps.
New Features
Added a stronger and clearer quest guidance system to better show players what to do and where to go.
Active objectives are now tracked with a cleaner and more visible on-screen guidance panel.
If a quest target is not on your current map, the system will now point you toward the correct map portal.
Once you enter the correct map, guidance automatically switches back to the actual enemy or NPC target.
Guided objectives are now more clearly highlighted on the minimap and world map.
Quest System Fixes
Fixed an issue where defeated enemy counts were not updating correctly in the quest tracker.
Fixed mismatched progress values between quest tracker and chat notifications.
Improved the early main quest flow to reduce repetition.
Fixed cases where Solara could appear to be giving the same quest repeatedly.
Resolved issues that could cause conflicting or duplicated active main quest states.
UI and Tooltip Fixes
Fixed overlapping text in item tooltips when hovering over inventory items.
Fixed tooltip content extending outside the tooltip panel.
Tooltip layout now adjusts more reliably based on content size for better readability.
Camera and Controls
Fixed inverted vertical mouse movement causing the camera to move in the wrong direction.
Vertical camera look now behaves naturally as expected.
Performance Improvements
Strengthened runtime optimizations to reduce major performance issues, especially in the first map.
Light, particle, and character optimizations now apply more effectively across all playable maps instead of only one heavy scene.
Reduced realtime lighting and ambient particle load.
Lowered processing cost for distant characters, effects, and local lights.
Reduced expensive minimap and world map scene scanning overhead.
