The tutorial has another slide to help everyone get a better grip on the core mechanics.
Running into walls does indeed cause damage, also bouncing into the boundary of the map or as I call it the "void" would also have done that previously, but that has been removed for now to avoid confusion.
A secondary configuration level will appear now that prompts you to choose a camera style. One of two styles can be chosen: Cinematic or manual.
If you want more direct control and like to move the player and camera separately, you can choose the manual one. You can opt for the cinematic one if gameplay feel is more important.
Damage will now be visualized with a screen flash and a display effect on the top right; the screen flash can be turned off in the settings.
