New update v0.48 is live!!

Hey everyone! Today there's a new Flat Heroes update (v0.48)! We've been working on the difficulty curve to make it a bit more smooth, and this update also adds a new world and brings some new enemies to the waves mode.

addedToday there's a new Flat Heroes update (v0.48)!We've been working on the difficulty curve to make it a bit more smooth, and this update also adds a new world and brings some new enemies to the waves mode. It's a great opportunity to revisit the adventure again! We also updated the player's movement set to add some more depth and give players more options in each situation, so there are new and more exciting ways to beat some levels now! And we reworked the charging and shooting mechanics for the versus modes, which should make it more viable to use in combats. And you may also find lots of small changes that we've been doing to polish the game further :) Here are the update notes:

  • Extra gamefeel bits all around the game, including> updated initial countdown > walls that kill should be a bit more clear now > on runner it should be more when the runner changes and who is the new one > new end of match effect on some versus modes
  • Optimizations and bug fixes here and there

Still, this is not the big update we're going to make soon-ish, we're still working on that one!
