fixedI’ve been putting off finishing Flank Speed due to not having the time to figure out the multiplayer, but I don’t want people to think it’s abandoned because it’s not. So I implemented some updates, added more randomness to the enemy spawns in the survival modes, and fixed a few issues. I’ve gotten some feedback from players and overall it seems it’s fine as an arcade game and multiplayer might not add much to it.
changedI will continue to add fixes to the game, I want to add a toggle to change the controls so people who don’t like Newtonian physics can still enjoy it. And if I can figure out multiplayer better I will add it into it. But for the time being I removed the multiplayer coming soon think in the menu. I still plan it but I’m not sure when. Fortunately Flank Speed isn’t a terribly good seller so I don’t feel like I’m letting many people down. But it was made as a simple arcade game to see if I could make a proper game in under 3 months and I did. It may not be a breakout success or anything nor did I ever assume it would be. But I’m happy with it and will continue working on it when I have the time.
