addedMy name is Mac Clark and I am the solo developer behind "Fishing on the Fly". Fishing on the Fly was made using the first available video game engine to the public for free, Unreal Engine 3. I am working on another version of this game, a sequel, in Unreal Engine 5 at the moment. These projects take many years as a solo dev and when Unreal Engine went from UE3 to UE4, the tech stack was different. I kept working in UE3 anyways to finish the game. At this point the game is finished, unless I discover some earth-shattering reason to release a new build. This game IS NOT abandoned, it is complete. I just have not released it from early access yet but plan to do so.
changedOn another note - I have faced constant trolling and fake reviews by people who put little time into the game or were paid to do by my competition. To be fair, there are bugs so save often and early. If you want to break the game, you can probably find a way. However, if you want to play a cool experience meant to value your time with knowledge drops om fly fishing that should be timeless, I think you will find a lot of value here,
changedI now work in the video game industry and have for several years. I help video game companies solve the crashes and errors. I've spent the last couple years traveling and talking about the things I would do different. You can find my GDC talks in the Vault.

PS - I really, really hate trolls.

Tight lines -
