Thank you for playing Fishing Fever — I hope you've been enjoying it as much as I've loved making it.

Here's what's new in this update:

  1. Better fishing tools, earlier: Rare, Epic, and Legendary tools now start appearing in your card drafts from round 15 instead of round 20+.

  2. Tool hitbox indicator: Every fishing tool now wears a circle showing exactly where its catch zone is. No more guessing where your line lands.

  3. Catching animation: When a tool is reeling in a fish, the indicator pulses with a subtle heartbeat — and yes, this works on auto-tools too (Crab Trap, Drift Net, etc.), so the whole boat feels alive.

  4. Color-coded tools: Your player-controlled tool shows a soft green circle. Auto-tools wear a warm amber. At a glance you'll always know which one is yours.

  5. Brand new UI: A full visual refresh — cleaner, sharper, easier to read.

  6. Fishdex cleanupA couple of duplicate fish entries were removed so the collection feels properly curated.

The full game is in the works, and it's much bigger than the demo: a weather system, a rival pirate who tries to steal your fish (and your cards), mini-games, new zones, and a lot more.

If you've been enjoying Fishing Fever, please consider wishlisting it — it's the single biggest thing you can do to support the project, and you'll be notified the moment it launches.

Thanks for playing, stay safe, and happy gaming!
