UPDATE #41 Now We’re Talking! 💪

Hello Adventurers!

We’re back from the holidays and bringing a new update! 😈 We hope you enjoyed our little April Fools’ mischief in Update #40.

This update includes a bunch of improvements and fixes, as well as the long-awaited ability to build on mana pipelines!

You can now place buildings directly on top of mana pipelines. Not only is it possible, but buildings will no longer cut the pipeline and will instantly connect to the mana grid.

We’ve also improved settlers’ overall immersion. They will now move out of your way when you run past them, react when you aim at them, and use different walking animations depending on their happiness level. We also refined their animations and added visual effects to their idle behaviors.

More improvements for settlers are on the way :)

👤 Settlers Improvements

• Settlers will now try to move out of your way if you run towards them.

• Settlers no longer block your path. They have smaller collisions and can be pushed aside.

• Added a separate walking animation for settlers with low happiness.

• Added a dedicated animation showing low happiness when the player is nearby.

• Added visual effects to settlers’ idle animations.

• Improved settlers’ idle animations.

✨ Highlights

• You can now place buildings on mana pipelines.

• Buildings placed on pipelines automatically act as pipeline nodes.

• Regrown plants now have white icons, while those not yet regrown are gray.

🐞 Bugfixes

• Equipping an item now scrolls the inventory to the correct category.

• Improved wall placement at angles in drawing mode.

• Added a “Requires No Mana” hint for walls, battlements, and anchor spots.

• Building placement is now smoother and snaps better to the grid.

• Fixed an issue where plant icons and names remained visible from a distance.
