FiresOut! changes
We’ve just rolled out v0.3.1.0 for the ongoing Steam Playtest (Feb 4–21). This update focuses on stability, UI fixes, multiplayer syncing, and a few gameplay improvements.

Here’s what’s been fixed:
Fixed player death from fire triggering twice simultaneously
Fixed resolutions not saving across scenes
Fixed UI scaling issues across different resolutions
Fixed UI navigation issues
Fixed lobby lever not syncing properly for late joiners
Fixed raft movement breaking in Levels 1–4
Potential fix for victims not respawning
Adjusted BGM behavior — now only slightly fades when too many audio sources are playing (especially during water blasting)
Improved player burn meter responsiveness
Fixed various level floor collision issues causing Mr Glug Glug to get stuck
Fixed pause menu issue where players couldn’t properly pause/unpause during gameplay
Here are some features & improvements added:
Game now only pauses in Offline Play Mode
Added camera shake when a player dies or when fireballs hit
🔥 Fire is now slightly more tanky (yes, someone reported that)
Added version number display (bottom-left corner) to help with bug reporting and screenshot identification
