Hello everyone!
The NextFest has ended, and I finally found a moment to write here. We’re very happy with all the support we’ve received so far. First of all, thank you to everyone who bought and played the game!
We’ve received many suggestions and bug reports, and we hope the improvements in this update make your experience even more fun and stable.
Additions
Added option to use an arrow as the mouse cursor
Added new hints option that shows when your cursor is over an interactive object and displays a random dragon after 1 minute if none are found (this option also comes with a new achievement for players who complete the game without using hints!)
Improvements
Lion animation improved
Sprites are now correctly compressed, reducing RAM usage on weaker PCs
Hitboxes of small dragons increased to make clicking easier
Added shadows to multiple UI elements for better visual emphasis
Added a hint on how to unlock the timed mode
Small improvements to fonts for Asian languages
Bug Fixes
Added prevention for Bear and Lion repeating animations after multiple clicks
Fixed bug that used the last selected game mode when closing the game during a restart
Fixed issue preventing the last game in timed mode from loading correctly
Fixed Jerry not staying colored after a restart
Fixed interactive animations that weren’t looping
Fixed missing text in Japanese
Future plans
Our next step is to add a new stage with new game modes and maybe… more dragons?
Some players have mentioned that the current game is a bit short and easy, and that the content doesn’t fully reflect the price. Since this is my first game with this theme, I’d like to hear your opinions and feedback on what you’d like to see in the future to improve the gaming experience. Leave your comments, every suggestion is very welcome!
Once again, thank you so much for your support and kindness. Thanks for playing! 💖
