changedA lot of that feedback helped us fix bugs or tweak the experience here and there right after the EA release - we couldn't have made those improvements without your help, so thank you once again, and be sure to give yourself a pat on the back.
changedSpeaking of the next release... we are getting very close! It probably won't make it into the Summer Sale window, but it won't be long after. We're actively working on Episode 2 right now and planning ahead a little for Episode 3. For the most part, we are playtesting and tweaking the gameplay sequence, polishing the environment, and working on the cutscenes.
addedThere is a lot of other stuff to do as well... we should probably make a new trailer, the store page needs an update, it's tax time, we're planning another trip to PAX, we're thinking about the next game... the list really never ends! For a literal handful of game devs who graduated Uni together, it is certainly a challenge to do something like this in our spare time. Still, we love it and we are committed!

Well, well, well... Hello again everyone!

It is my pleasure to reveal that we are indeed still here, and still working hard developing the story of Finch & Archie to share with you all. Thank you for being patient with us ⋮3

Since releasing the Prologue and Episode 1 into Early Access, we've received a good deal of feedback and even put out a few patches. It was genuinely awesome to read about people's experiences and we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has played so far and taken the time to write us some detailed feedback.

It's clear that you're excited to see Finch & Archie truly come to life! That's really motivating for us, and we're beyond excited that you're invested in this story we're creating.

A lot of that feedback helped us fix bugs or tweak the experience here and there right after the EA release - we couldn't have made those improvements without your help, so thank you once again, and be sure to give yourself a pat on the back.

Some other feedback went deeper, which we appreciate immensely. I know I've said it before, but this is our first title, and while we didn't jump in blind, we are still learning a lot as we go. Reading about people's experiences is extremely helpful, and many of your suggestions were really great. Some of them will even be making it into the next release!

Speaking of the next release... we are getting very close! It probably won't make it into the Summer Sale window, but it won't be long after. We're actively working on Episode 2 right now and planning ahead a little for Episode 3. For the most part, we are playtesting and tweaking the gameplay sequence, polishing the environment, and working on the cutscenes.

The next release will be Episode 2 itself, alongside some other general updates.

There is a lot of other stuff to do as well... we should probably make a new trailer, the store page needs an update, it's tax time, we're planning another trip to PAX, we're thinking about the next game... the list really never ends! For a literal handful of game devs who graduated Uni together, it is certainly a challenge to do something like this in our spare time. Still, we love it and we are committed!

Anyway, that's enough rambling from me. This is the part where I plug the game being in the Summer Sale. It's 20% off, so if you're reading this and haven't bought it yet, you have a couple of weeks to get in on a good deal! If you buy five copies, you would be getting one for free! Wow!

Thanks again for all the feedback, support, and patience. We can't wait to share Episode 2 with you, and hope you're as excited as we are!
