I've just released a minor patch (v1.2.1.1) which fixes a music volume issue when using Steam Remote Play Together. The problem caused music to be extremely loud and distorted for remote players regardless of what the music volume was set to.
This one was a tricky one to track down and resolve, so thanks for bringing it to my attention!
