Repeated intro
Hello all,
What changed
- Gameplay
- Balance
- UI and audio
The latest build adds the second deluxe unlock feature, Components. Expanding on the idea of Artist Variants, which are when an artist has multiple versions of the base figurine model, components unlock the ability to create your own variants by changing out materials and turning on/off components.
Components provide the ability to:
Trade out materials - used to change colors of clothes, armor, etc.
Turn on/off components - used to turn armor, clothes, hairstyles and other options on and off.
To use the components feature, add a character to the scene and then click on the "Components & Morphs" button on the blue/bottom-left menu.
A panel will show up showing a list of mesh renderers on the model. You can toggle them on/off and when they have multiple materials, they will rotate through the list of materials until toggling off and then back on.
A growing number of characters have components that let you switch material collections and character options.
The Warrior Class, Mythos figurines from Infinity PBR for instance support many color options, as well as different meshes for heads and other body parts.
The Silver Wrapper, Costume Party figurines by Ida faber support different characters and color options.
Note: We are currently preparing content that will simplify the process by grouping multiple meshes under a single item named appropriately, such as all of the individual components of armor would be under a single option, 'Armor', to make it easier to swap out components. We will still have the raw interface that lets you access the individual mesh renderers.
Rez you later, Arcade Player 1999
