changedThank you so much to everyone who has played the Fields of Aaru demo, wishlisted, reviewed, reported issues, shared feedback, or supported us. Every wishlist, review, comment, and bug report is very much appreciated! We've been working hard on a set of fixes and improvements for the demo since it launched just a few days ago, and we're happy to have the first patch out now!
addedThe update includes new safer first-run graphics defaults, a reduced texture quality option for lower-end systems and integrated GPUs, several crash fixes, clearer task instructions and resource tooltips, easier early fruit gathering, more reciprocity rewards from NPC tasks, and more.
addedWe still have a lot more planned for the demo, and we want to keep improving it as we continue working towards the full game. One of the bigger things we've been focused on over the past few weeks is proper controller support. The current demo does work with a controller, but the menus and UI can be difficult to navigate since they currently require moving a virtual cursor around. Once we've polished everything up and tested it a bit more, we hope to release a new version of the demo with better menu navigation, proper button prompts, and a better controller experience overall. Thank you again for playing, wishlisting, reviewing, and reporting issues. We really appreciate all the support and feedback so far. Steam post image
