We've made a decent Demo together! Thanks for feedback and reports!

There will be no full list of bugfixes as there are so many of them and sometimes I did daily updates to fix them. But some features we've added should be highlighted: Improved building system.

addedThere will be no full list of bugfixes as there are so many of them and sometimes I did daily updates to fix them. But some features we've added should be highlighted:
changedImproved building system . Selected peasants will start the building immediately if not busy with a resource.
changedImproved fighting system . If right-clicked on enemy - the selected ally unit(s) will auto-chase it with either melee or ranged weapons.
changedMinimap . With "M" as a hotkey. The map is clickable and does transfer the camera to the selected point.
changedSome "balance" talksSince the demo itself is a bit of a separate game with limited buildings and units - some balance is made for demo only. For example, in the main game you will not face so many wolves as there will be plenty of other things to be worried about.
addedSome "balance" talksI recommend all of the new players to start with "Easy mode" and then on the next game proceed to "Standard resources" for an actual gameplay feel.

  • Improved building system. Selected peasants will start the building immediately if not busy with a resource.

  • Improved fighting system. If right-clicked on enemy - the selected ally unit(s) will auto-chase it with either melee or ranged weapons.

  • Save-Load system + Autosaves. F5 / F9 - quick save / quick load.

  • Game speed control. Increase / decrease the speed of the game with "=" / "-" buttons by default. You can change it on menu settings.

  • Control groups. ctrl + 1-9 to create a group. And 1-9 to call it. Camera jump on double tap on the group number.

  • Double click on unit selects all units of that type visible on screen.

  • Hints! You will see it if "Allow advices" is checked on start game menu.

  • Minimap. With "M" as a hotkey. The map is clickable and does transfer the camera to the selected point.

Some "balance" talks

Since the demo itself is a bit of a separate game with limited buildings and units - some balance is made for demo only. For example, in the main game you will not face so many wolves as there will be plenty of other things to be worried about.

I recommend all of the new players to start with "Easy mode" and then on the next game proceed to "Standard resources" for an actual gameplay feel.

What's Next?

I will have a look on opinions of new players who come from Steam Next Fest. If fixes are necessary I will do it but right now my focus shifts to map generation feature.

I am not saying that there will be no more bugs found and the demo has no room to improve. There definitely is. But from that point, my main focus is on the full game.

Game's future

I tend to avoid an Early Access option if possible.

I work full-time with limited resources to make the complete game to be done this year. Some part of the game like number of included mechanics and campaign depends on "how well it goes" for players and numbers.

I will ship the game regardless of that, with the map generation option and deep trade and war systems.

There will be more posts on what to expect and work progress here, so stay tuned and thanks to all people who made bug reports and gave feedback in discussions!
