✨ Traits System

  • Upon reaching certain ages, you’ll be offered 3 unique Traits to choose from, adding replayability and strategic depth.

  • Includes Traits like:

    • Free Time – Gives +1 Hourglass.

    • Free Refresh – Gives 5 free card refreshes.

    • Random Resource – Gain 10 Random Resources.

    • Late Bloomer – Gives +1 turn for Promises.

  • Traits now have custom images and hover tooltips with full descriptions.

⚖️ Balance & Gameplay Tuning

  • Happiness goal raised to 100 (was 80), reaching Happiness goal is more challenging now.

  • "You Can Take It With You"goal increased to 50 Money.

  • House costs & upkeep increased for a tighter economic mid-game.

  • Card discard happiness cost increased from 1 to 2.

  • Overtime gives 2 stress instead of 1.

  • Starting resources adjustedPersonality Card starting happiness lowered (10 → 5), Rich starting money lowered (20 → 15) to smooth early difficulty.
  • Promises give Happiness reward if succeeded, encouraging risk-taking.

🎨 Visual & UI Overhaul

  • New textures & background colors across panels, cards, and UI elements.

  • Stress bar now has dividers for better readability.

  • Dice graphics rounded up for a cleaner look.

  • Event panels now display reward text directly.

  • Hover handlers show a shadow effect, improving contrast.

  • Divisor panel added for clearer stat breakdowns.

  • Panels now block card interaction during tutorials, preventing accidental clicks.

🧭 Tutorial & New Player Experience

  • Tutorial flow improved with new prompt backgrounds and step-by-step guidance.

  • Returning to the main menu from tutorial caused a bug preventing player from finishing tutorial, it is fixed now.

🆕 Content & Events

  • New age is added: Young Adult 3.

  • New events are added, including:

    • Quiz Show (Knowledge)

    • Overflowing Muse (Inspiration)

    • Influence Overload (Influence)

    • Taxing Matters (Money)

🔧 Fixes & Technical Improvements

  • Video settings now correctly select the highest available refresh rate for your monitor (goodbye 60Hz lock).

  • Endgame panel now includes a Wishlist button, feel free to press it. ❤️
