It's been exactly one month since release, and I am delighted to announce that FEED THE QUEEN has just reached 50,000 players!
I want to express my gratitude to everyone who's purchased, played, streamed, reviewed, and shared the game. I never thought during the development of this project that it would end up reaching such a milestone. Watching you play and discuss FEED THE QUEEN has been an amazing experience and I am so so happy that the game has resonated with so many of you.
So far since release, I have made different changes to address your feedback:
multiple patches to address performance issues,
improvements to the overall user experience and the addition of extra quality of life settings,
tweaked certain mechanics to make the game more forgiving, in particular by making restarting a lot faster, and adjusting mid-way easier, in order to encourage experimentation,
additional milestones in the late-game to give extra tools to players who want to try pushing for the highest possible food/min.
I am still looking into changes to address the feedback of players getting "stuck" and feeling frustrated. I want to better communicate to the player that experimenting and learning the different mechanics, interactions, and synergies is a big part of the intended experience, and that there are always multiple viable paths to progress at every tier.
Finally, I plan on supporting more languages in the future, as well as adding community items!
