Important
Hello everyone! Extremely happy to see many people playing the demo and enjoying it! I have done some quick fixes to address some bugs/issues with the demo as it was, but before that I want to address the issue of the tutorial.
I have come to understand that the tutorial is not as understandable as I had hoped, so I will be taking some time over the new few days to create a much better tutorial that is hopefully does a better job at outlining the gameplay.
New Features
New Collision Notifier
Added an audio and visual notification onto the Field Display to make it more clear the side the chassis is colliding with the environment on.
This replaces the alarm from before, meaning the alarm now only pertains to enemy attacks.
Collision sounds are also much louder.
AI Adjustments
Made Corrupted Mech much less aggressive on patrolling around the player.
Made Corrupted Mech spawn much later after the player spawns in, giving the player time to get used to moving around more.
Bug Fixes
Visual
Fixed the bug that made the chassis continuously shake during a power out after being attacked.
I know there is still a lot more to fix, specifically a bug that causes the power out tutorial to not trigger on the first power out, and I'm looking into it. For now hopefully this lowers the difficulty to a point where it isn't constant enemies after you. Until next time!
