Hi everyone! The demo for Faunamorph has just been updated to version 0.7.2, fixing lots of bugs and making small tweaks!
Here are the patch notes for the update:
Visuals
🎨 The Main Hub’s tilemap colors has been changed for easier diferentiation between it and the Security Sector.
Gameplay
📐 The level design and enemy placement has been changed slightly for a better flow and movement
🛡️ The Security Robot now has a smaller detection radius for the shield activation
🧲 Player is no longer attracted to ground while high jumping on top of a platform
🔧 A hard-lock near the Main Hub’s Save room has been resolved.
Bug Fixes
🐞 Fixed bug where sometimes player spawned inside the ground
🦏 Player don’t flip-flop when trying to start a Rhino Run close to a Rhino Breakable Wall
🥶 The Octopus Tentacle ability no longer freezes the player in place
💔 One of the Security Robots on the Main Hub sector is no longer immortal
🖥️ The Game Over screen now properly works once more
🔁 Player no longer stays in an infinite looping of dying and showing up the Game Over screen
🐙 Player can no longer grab the Security Robot’s shield with the Octopus Tentacle
📏 Pressing the Melee Attack button while on the Ability Unlock/Acquired screen does no longer change the resolution of the game
Other updates
⏯️ Main Menu now has only one button for playing the game
