But we've been watching the community dive into Kepler-442, and we’re blown away by the players who have spent hours slicing through the Black Site archives to uncover the truth.

removedCore Systems & FlowWe want you hacking the system, not fighting the UI. The initial station breach sequence has been overhauled. We’ve removed the rigid countdowns and eject options, replacing them with a streamlined approach vector (Brute Force, Stealth, or Social). You are in the system—now choose how you break it.

Today, we are pushing a targeted systems update to streamline the neural link and enhance the overall pacing of the dive.

Core Systems & Flow

Streamlined ICE Bypass

We want you hacking the system, not fighting the UI. The initial station breach sequence has been overhauled. We’ve removed the rigid countdowns and eject options, replacing them with a streamlined approach vector (Brute Force, Stealth, or Social). You are in the system—now choose how you break it.

Hub Auto-Save Verification

Kepler-442 is a massive station, and reaching the Central Transit Hub opens up a lot of doors at once. We’ve added a clear, in-universe status message at the hub to verify that your progress is safely backed up. Take your time, plot your route, or safely sever the connection to return later.

Immersion & Diagnostics

Dynamic Terminal Idle States

We’ve recalibrated FAULTLINE's ambient messaging. The terminal's idle logs now scale dynamically with your actual Memory level. You'll see calm, standard system diagnostics when your sync is high, saving the heavy glitching and paranoia for when things are actually going critical.

Quality of Life (QoL)

Direct Process Termination

We heard you loud and clear. You no longer have to sever your connection to the Main Menu just to close the client. We've added a direct "Quit to Desktop" terminal command directly in the SYS_CONFIG menu.

Expanded Network Access

We’ve added a secure uplink in the SYS_CONFIG menu to the Steam page for our upcoming commercial project, Scrap Syndicate. If you are digging the VibeAxis aesthetic, we'd love it if you dropped a wishlist over there!

Your terminal client should update automatically. Stay sharp out there.
