addedWe are including new boss fights, new story content, a big UI overhaul, a new fight replay mode, and quality of life improvements. We are more than doubling the content of the base game with this new release! We are also adding a lot of new music for this next content, all created by ExpoDev ! The first of these new songs can be heard in the reveal trailer!

However, with a recent restructuring of Chopbusters, we are now in a better spot to work on a smaller project like Fated Flatline DX. We also wanted to bring the game to more players, so we are happy to be able to bring it to Steam and PlayStation for the first time! What will happen to the free version of Fated Flatline on itch.io ? Nothing! We have zero intentions to take away the free version of the game. We were adamant that if we couldn’t justify the cost of the new version without taking away what we previously allowed people to have for free, then it just simply wasn’t worth the cost. We feel that the new content added to DX definitively makes this new version the best way to experience this game. However, if you would still like to play the free version, we will not take that away from you. We will note that the free version is not expected to receive any more updates.

changedAt launch, Fated Flatline DX will only have English language support. However, we are actively looking into other languages to localize the game into. We have nothing to announce on that today, but it is something we are looking at.

What Platforms will Fated Flatline DX be released on?
Fated Flatline DX will launch on Steam (Published by Chopbusters) and PlayStation 4 and 5 (Published by PMH Interactive). We cannot promise any more platforms today, but I will say we are trying our hardest to be available on as many platforms as we can.
Will Fated Flatline 2022 save data be transferable with Fated Flatline DX (and vice versa)?
Fated Flatline DX uses a new save system that is not compatible with Fated Flatline 2022.
When can we find out more about Fated Flatline DX?
Soon! We are planning to start posting videos weekly on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok as soon as possible sharing dev stories about Fated Flatline and reveal new features leading up to the launch.
