addedSince the New Years event is almost over, we've decided to make it a little easier to farm all the event items. We've added a map mode called Shrines, which can be used when you've unlocked all the items on a map. Only the starter maps, up to Cursed Sands, contain shrines.
changedUnlock everything on a map to see the Shrines map mode where you select it.
fixedRandom shrine types will spawn on fixed positions in the map.
changedShrines will spawn fire, lightning, poison and water elementals that attack you. The shrine itself will also attack if you get too close.
addedOnce you defeat a shrine, it will drop either a New Years gift or Pet Candy. The candy levels up a pets in the Stables.
changedThe Unique gifts won't drop from shrines, but can be traded in the Workshop from Father Winter.

Good luck unlocking all of the event's content, I suggest teaming up to farm the shrines since they are not easy to beat. If you can use potions, I highly recommend it.
